Representing His Excellency President Adama Barrow at the Swiss Confederation’s convened Heads of States and Governments Summit for Peace on Ukraine, hosted at the Burgenstock Resort, Switzerland. Minister of Information, Hon. Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, accompanied by Amb. Prof.Muhammadou M.O.Kah, Ambassador of The Gambia to Switzerland and Permanent Representative to UNOG, WTO and Other International Organisations in Switzerland, joined world leaders in Switzerland to enhance a high level and constructive dialogue on pathways towards a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
His Excellency the President deeply appreciates Switzerland’s initiative and Leadership in convening this timely and high-level historic summit towards the pathway to everlasting and just peace and to galvanise collective efforts to stop the war at Ukraine and everywhere.
The Global leadership present, engaged substantively on the nexus of Food Security, Nuclear and the Human dimensions and the consequences of war and agreed on a joint communique supported overwhelmingly.
