In a demonstration of commitment to effective governance and service delivery, the newly appointed Minister of Information, Dr. Ismaila Ceesay together with his Permanent Secretary, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Technical) and Personal Assistant Secretary embarked on a comprehensive familiarization tour of the agencies under the ministry’s purview. The Minister visited The Gambia Printing & Publishing Corporation (GPPC) and Department of Information Services (DoIS).
The purpose of the tour was to gain firsthand insights into the operations, challenges, and opportunities present within each agency, ultimately fostering a deeper understanding of their functions and needs.
