A delegation from The Gambia, led by the Hon. Minister of Information, Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, is currently attending the 6th Forum on China-Africa Media Cooperation and China-Africa Think Tank High-level Dialogue.
The event, which focused on the themes “Harmonious Co-existence: Building a New Model of Media Collaboration in the Global South” and “Co-Progress of Innovation,” provides a vital platform for discussing innovative ways to enhance media cooperation between nations.
During the event, the Hon. Minister and his team signed an MOU with the National Radio and Television Administration of the People’s Republic of China.
This MOU marks a pivotal step in enhancing cooperation in the fields of radio, television, and online audio-visual media between our two nations.
The agreement aims to consolidate the enduring friendship between The Gambia and China, fostering people-to-people exchanges and promoting common development in media and broadcasting.
Through this partnership, we look forward to sharing knowledge, resources, and expertise to enrich our media landscapes and strengthen cultural ties.
